Two items from Pasadena Unified School District:
- Early returns show that a thin majority approved Measure CC, the parcel tax measure that would provide some emergency funding for PUSD schools. However, a two-thirds majority is required to pass the measure, a gap that is unlikely to be met in the final stages of counting. PUSD press release here.
- Altadenan Bob Harrison, one of the owners of Pasadena's Green Street Restaurant, was elected President of the PUSD board for the 2010-2011 school year. Renatta Cooper, a three year board veteran, was named vice-president. More here.
