This from Lt. Sheila Sanchez of the Altadena Sheriff's Station, regarding some salespeople now in the area trying to sell security systems:
FYI: Per ADT…they do not have any personnel soliciting in the area of Altadena. However, ADT contracts w/Elite Security….and Elite Security contracts w/Security Solutions. ‘Security Solutions’ have several individuals in the Altadena area soliciting however, they are not representatives of ADT and therefore, should not be displaying an ADT logo. These individuals are dropped off in the area and picked up in the evening...something very similar to the individuals who sell magazines and are committing burglaries throughout the county.
