• Land Use Committee: Brian League, chair of the Altadena Town Council Land Use subcommittee, tells us that the June 1 meeting has been canceled.
• Meals on wheels: Our new Food Truck correspondent, Matthew Shropshire, tells us that Frysmith will be at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena, 695 E. Colorado Blvd., from 6-9 PM today (Thurs.), and Get Shaved Hawaiian Ice will be at the Coffee Gallery in Altadena  on Friday from 10 PM-midnight.
• ...but some dishes are best served cold: We're now being Twitter-followed by "The Spot," the political opinion arm of the Denver Post, a paper that thought we were unqualified for an internship in 1979.
