Short takes

• PSN's Mickie Mills has a feature on Deborah Blanco Flores, who will be the featured artist at next weekend's Art Bender at the Gallery at the End of the World.
• Pasadena police arrested  two teens, Ronald Middleton, 19, of Altadena, and Danielle Neukon, 18, after fleeing the scene of a burglary on their bicycles.  PSN has the details.  Seems to be a bad week for burglars, which makes it a good week for everyone else.
• Altadena artist Zofia Kostyrko, "The Brainy Brush Diva," has a fabulous website of her art: youchangemyworld.com.  It's to help to promote her upcoming show at the Coffee Gallery through the month of June (reception on June 13, 7-9 PM).  Kostyrko's pop art seems to consist entirely of Altadenans, and mostly Coffee Gallery owners and habitues, including Bob Stane, Julie Sandoval, Chef Jeff Klein,  Steve Lamb,  and others.  (Zorthian's there, too!)
