And occasionally the Times takes notice ...

The LA Times seems to have inaugurated a new online feature, "Mapping LA: Neighborhoods," which includes a subgroup called "The Verdugos," and one of seven neighborhoods which is what we call "Altadena."  We don't really consider ourselves part of "The Verdugos," and it lumps us in with Sunland and Tujunga, but not with Sierra Madre, which is actually closer to us geographically and culturally.  It's an interesting experiment, the statistics are worth browsing, and they're actively looking for comments.
