Reader Leonor Mullis writes Sunday night:
We found this little fellow outside our front yard tonight. If you can post it on the blog... maybe somebody is looking for it. I am going to drop it off at the Pasadena Humane Society tomorrow as we have a dog and birds and I can't [have] him around the house. We are located near Loma Alta and Glenrose in Altadena.
The "little fellow" (whose picture didn't come through, unfortunately) (came through on a second attempt) is a ferret. Hope she or she finds their home!

I feel so bad.. I did not know they may put him down in the shelter. I read the comments in the blog… I hope the Animal control people don’t kill him.
