A note from Carolyn Seitz at the Sheriff's Community Advisory Council:
The deputies and detectives at the Altadena Sheriff's Station have a request.
From time to time, they like to conduct training exercises in Altadena.
The community has been generous in their support for these exercises in the past and we're hoping someone can help this time.
They would like to use a building that is slated for demolition, or a building, residential, commercial or industrial, that is going to have major renovation done.
They'd like to use a building, or buildings like that, for practicing hostage rescue, search and rescue, or the kind of hide and seek that they sometimes encounter in their efforts to capture a criminal.
They use an ammunition that is similar to paint balls, and they like to break down doors since it's an important element in their effort to keep their skills sharp.
Can you help or do you know of anyone who has a residence, commercial or industrial building that they can use?
Any help would be appreciated.
Please let me know.
Thanks very much,
Carolyn
