Trail man Paul Ayers writes that the gate is finally open on Chaney Trail and people can drive to the Millard Campground parking lot (we haven't checked this out yet ourselves).
Also, District Ranger Mike McIntyre says that anyone interested in the trails of the Cobb Estate should meet at the gate at 8 AM Saturday. The purpose is to verify that all of the trails under consideration for opening or reforesting have been identified -- the trails have been GPS-mapped, and they just want to make sure no favorites have gone missing.
