Altadena Relay has our Kick Off Event this Thursday at Farnsworth Park, 6-8 PM. All are welcome come by for a piece of Birthday Cake celebrating Relay for Life's 1st Birthday in Altadena. Please come to learn how you can participate in our Event: "One Day, One Night - One Community - One Fight". We are looking for new participants and new teams, and we are always welcoming new volunteers to our growing, fun Relay Committee. Please consider this Invitation to all those interested in Altadena to join us and bring that uniquely Altadena Spirit to Help "Fight Back" Against Cancer.
A Relay for Life Kickoff is pretty much an Open House with free light refreshments, a speaker and informational videos. Our 2010 Event will be our 2nd Annual Relay for Life of Altadena and it promises to be a fantastic fun night; with the Relay's highlight to be the Luminare Ceremony at 9:00 p.m., immediately after the Summer Concert Series performance.
The Altadena relay starts Sat., Aug. 14, at Farnsworth Park.
