• So return your books: Franklin Elementary in Altadena opened a new library -- and due to budget cuts, it may close.  PSN's Brian Charles tells the story.
• scissors/paper/rock concert series starts: The salon (and Altadenablog sponsor) at 1864 N. Allen in Borderdena opens its in-store summer concert series on Fri., June 11 at 8 PM with the Itinerant Locals, all the way from Arkansas.  And there will be free concerts almost every Friday night through June and July.
