If you want to see some of the Station Fire-fighting choppers and thank the crews personally, you'll get a chance at next weekend's American Heroes Air Show at Hansen Dam.
(And yes, we noted that they can't spell "helicopter" correctly on the top of their flier!)
John Heinsen, who alerted us to this, says he'll be there at 8 AM to watch the choppers fly in, and says to come early to beat the heat and bring lots of water.
