PSN has an obit of Allen Davis, who taught at Pasadena City College for over 30 years. An Altadena resident throughout his working career, Davis was a popular teacher in the business division, and in retirement volunteered as a clown, magician, and balloon-animal-making Santa Claus.
The Mt. Wilson Observatory Assn.'s monthly lecture on Sat., July 24 at the Altadena Library will be Dr. Edward L. (Ned) Wright, of the UCLA Physics &
Astronomy Dept. His subject will be the Wide-field Infrared Survey
Explorer (WISE) space astronomy mission, for which Dr. Wright is
Principal Investigator. Refreshments are at 2 PM, the program begins
at 2:30.
