Apparently there's no place safe from the burglars. Lt. Joseph Dempsey from the Altadena Sheriff's Station sent us this:
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Parks Bureau reported that they received three vehicle burglary reports at Eaton Canyon Park on Fri., July 2, 2010. The burglaries occurred between 8 AM and 12 PM. In all three of the thefts, the suspect(s) gained entry by smashing a window. Numerous items were stolen from the vehicles.
Please do not leave valuables in your vehicles.
Call Altadena Sheriff's Station (626-798-1131) to report any suspicious activity.
Deputies from Altadena Station and Parks Bureau will be patrolling the county parks.
