The Thursday Morning Jolt: there is a cat, yes [Updated]
An oddly-written little PSN story about two women who weren't that lost on the Cobb Estate, but rescued anyway Tuesday night.
Donna Barnes-Roberts is starting another session of Monday evening watercolor classes at the Coffee Gallery starting Aug. 2. Information is on her new website, about which she writes: "Yes, I actually somehow wound up with the domain name www.altadenaartist.com. So cool, I think."
Milo, the orange tabby who was reported missing two weeks ago, is now back home -- we love good news!
After much sturm und drang, we have finally finished our new About page -- check it out. (And for the SSGA and Christmas Tree Lane -- your checks are in the mail!)
Joe Piasecki at Pasadena Weekly tells the good news about Claudia Turrentine, the Altadena woman who was about to be turned out of her home because of refinanancing by predatory lenders. Rep. Adam Schiff applied some pressure, her church and a sympathetic mortgage lender applied some help, and she gets to keep her home. Check out the full story.
Macaroni Kid is fairly new website of children's activities in the greater Los Angeles area. With August coming up and most school programs out for the summer, we parents will need all the help we can get!
