County parks deputies arrested two men and seized narcotics during a raid Thursday at a home next to Charles White Park, according to the Altadena sheriff's station.
A press release from the sheriff's department says: "On Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, the Parks Bureau served a search warrant at a house on Mountain View Street, directly adjacent to Charles White County Park. Deputies seized various narcotics at the location and arrested two males for various narcotic related offenses, including possession for sales of narcotics. "
(Earlier this year, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. merged with County Police, who are charged with patrolling county parks).
Altadena Sheriff's Capt. Steven McLean told Altadenablog Saturday that possible crack cocaine and methamphetamine had been seized at the home, which had been under observation as a drug haven for some time.
