No good deed goes unpunished -- be nice to a cat, and see what happens (we're not a cat person). A reader writes:
On July 1, we found a mother
cat and her four newly-born kittens on top of our garage roof (We live
on the corner of Braeburn Road and Mendocio).
We moved the family to our garage and began feeding the very hungry and thin mother.
The kittens are now six weeks old and eating kitten
food and even using the liter box. They are absolutely adorable - all
are black with white markings on their stomachs and necks. If the mother
is not claimed, we are planning to continue
to care for her, including getting her spayed. However, we are not able
to keep the kittens and are looking for loving homes.
