Boulder Crest, one of the grand homes of Altadena, was destroyed in the 1935 Las Flores fire. Altadena Historical Society has a rare copy of a limited edition booklet that the builder, Reinhardt J. Busch published about 1915, proudly describing his Millard Canyon mountain lodge. We’re closed in August, but please make plans to visit the Altadena Historical Society archives anytime Monday or Tuesday between 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
