Preparations are in full swing for the 2nd Annual Relay for Life of Altadena. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, entertainers, donors and registered participants for their heartfelt contributions of time, effort and donations. Special thanks to the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation and Farnsworth Park staff for their sponsorship and awesome support. And to Coffee Gallery for help organizing our awesome slate of entertainers.Late News: Thanks to a very generous donation from the Altadena branch of Lockheed Martin and their "Rollin for a Cure" Relay for Life Team, we will be having a silent and live auctions of 15 computers, including 5 Dell Desktops (2.1GHz, 120GB HD with 15" inch monitors), 5 Dell Desktops (2.6 GHz, 500GB HD, 24" monitors), and 5 Apple Macbook Pro laptops. This is really a great opportunity to get some very nice "experienced" computer equipment (to be auctioned "as is", no warranty) and all the proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society for cancer awareness and education, research, advocacy and those all important patient services.For more information and its still not to late to sign up for Relay, please go to www.relayforlife.org/altadenaca, all Relay for Life Events are free, but all participants must be registered, Sign Up Now and Join the Fun!
