Many of you have expressed an interest in participating in a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. We have a CERT training currently scheduled in Altadena as follows:
Saturday, October 16, 2010 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Tuesday, October 19, 2010 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Wednesday, October 20, 2010 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Saturday, October 23, 2010 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
A flyer will be distributed soon with more details and reservation information.
Pre-registration will be required and the class will be limited to 25 participants.
Already done CERT but want a refresher? Show up for any of the sessions and let the instructor know you're there. You may be able to participate as helper instructors for the exercises.
There is no cost associated with this CERT training, however, you will be asked to bring a list of supplies to the classes with you. The information will be provided at a later date.
This class will be announced in Altadena and La Crescenta, but you're being given a little early notice. Please let me know if you have questions, and if you already know you want to participate in this class, let me know. You'll still need to do the normal registration process later, but I'll know to make sure you're on the list.
