The newest member of the Altadenablog sponsor team, The Altadena Ale & Wine House (the ad will be up soon!) will be the site of "Thee 1st Annual Los Angeles Limerick Fest" next Thurs., Sept. 23, starting at 7:30 PM. Radio personality Mimi Chen of 100.3 FM will be the mistress of ceremonies for the fest, which will be videotaped and broadcast on YouTube.
Signup for open mic starts at 6:45 PM, and admission is $9, which includes one free drink. A dollar of each admission will go to the Altadena Ale & Wine House Relay for Life Team for the American Cancer Society. Must be 21 or older to enter.
