A resident reports seeing a large maroon extended-cab pickup, apparently loaded with discarded roofing materials and other junk, driving up Chaney Trail Road on Friday afternoon. After the truck left shortly after (with an empty truck bed), Chaney Trail campground host Lonnie Fehr recorded this video:

The "dumper" ... did unload on upper Chaney Trail, spreading a lot of building material, nails, used shingles, etc. on the side of the road at the Sunset Ridge / Mount Wilson Fire Road parking area and in the middle (yes, middle) of the road, where Chaney Trail turns west and starts down to the campground ...
Lonnie helped get the more hazardous stuff out of the roadway. It looks like visitors assisted. The County later sent a crew to clean up the rest.
