Even tho' they're taking a break this week, the Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena is gearing up for their summer concert finale on Sat., Sept. 11, at the Farnsworth Park amphitheater with Randy Caputo and the Legends Show Band.
Among the events planned is an auction of this photo tribute to the New York City Fire Dept. Jim Smith, the MC for Randy Caputo's Legends Show Band has contributed this display photo, valued at $600, to be auctioned during the break at the concert. Smith is donating 100% of the proceeds to SSGA.
The piece is by the photo artist and former Army Airborne Ranger Thomas O. Nichols, who produced it in tribute to the 343 firefighters and emergency medical personnel who lost their lives on 9/11.
