Over at our neighbors to the north, the Crescenta Valley Heritage is partnering with the Lanterman Foundation to hold a home tour on Sat., Nov. 6, from 10 AM-3 PM.
"Sticks and Stones" is a self-guided tour of seven La Canada/ La Crescenta structures built between 1911 and 2002. Four houses in La Canada built of "sticks" and St. Luke's of the Mountain, built of "stones," will be featured. The tour features art exhibits and a demonstration of stone building techniques.
Tickets are $25 and available to purchase the day of the event at St. Luke's Episcopal Anglican Episcopal Church (inside joke - ed.), 2563 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta beginning at 10 AM.
