The Daz-e Shop will open at its new location -- 2450 N. Lake, in the Webster's complex -- on Fri., Oct. 22.
The Daz-e Shop has been in Altadena since 1969, most recently on the 400 block of Woodbury. The thrift shop supports the California P.E.O. Home in Alhambra. The store will be open Mon.-Sat., 11 AM-4 PM. Grand opening is Friday at 11 AM -- stop in to enjoy the relocated shop and have a cookie.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic, educational organization that supports education for women, which owns a two-year women's college, Cottey College, in Nevada, Mo., as well as funding scholarships for graduate and post-graduate degrees.
