In the Pasadena Museum of History's continuing look at the times of Eva Scott Feynes and celebration of the Altadena Town & Country Club's 100th anniversary, the club will host a fashion show: "Straight-Laced and Buttoned-Up: Dress and Undress at the Turn of the 20th Century" on Sat., Oct. 23, at 2 PM.
As they tell it: "Afternoon Tea and Period Fashion Show covering six decades, 1880-1930, with a special focus on the undergarments worn to achieve the highly stylized fashions of the day. Live female and male models (both in full dress and undergarments) and period musical entertainment will take you back to the days of corsets and crinolines, garters and spats, bustles and bowlers."
