Morning jolt: hikers and Scandals and schools, oh my!

• Four teenagers in Eaton Canyon apparently got too drunk to get themselves out of the park Saturday night, says PSN.  It required the Altadena Search & Rescue Team to take them out. 
• Now David Rothman at The Solomon Scandals blog looks at LA Weekly looking at us looking at AOL. (This "WalMart" thing we started seems to have legs).  Rothman calls us "a mix of seri­ous civic report­ing, crime news and chatty neigh­bor­hood items."  That's about right (arts coverage, too!)
• Don't forget that TONIGHT the PUSD's School Consolidation Study Committee will be meeting and taking public comment at Eliot Middle School, 2184 N. Lake, 6:30-8:30 PM.  The committee is tasked with recommending three schools for closure.
