The LA County Board of Supervisors received a $300,000 grant from the U.S. Dept. of Justice for the county's Gang Cop/Link/Gang Intelligence Information Node Project: a gang data and analysis database network which allows the sheriff's department and 46 other municipal police departments to effectively generate tactical leads and intelligence to help solve and thwart crime, gang activity and terrorism.
PSN's Micki Mills interviews Altadena musician James Raymond, a TV/film composer and pianist who's got an interesting new project: instrumental versions of songs by David Crosby (which he will perform with his group Lit by Fireflies at the Coffee Gallery Friday night). Raymond is also Crosby's biological son. Crosby is also the bio-dad of Melissa Etheridge's children, which makes us wonder how many other kids he's got out there and by whom!
