PSN is carrying this report of a woman and child struck by an SUV while crossing Altadena Dr. near Glenrose.
The accident occurred around 6:30 last night. The boy, age about 5, was critically injured and the woman appeared to have suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the SUV appeared uninjured but upset and was hospitalized as a precaution, PSN says.
According to our man-on-the-scene Elliot Gold, the adults appeared alert but the child was airlifted to Children's Hospital. The Edison School site was used to land the helicopter.
