Thefts from cars ... theft OF a car ... and heartbreaking loss of some nice guitars this week, after the jump:
Tues., Oct. 26
6:00 PM – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 2700 block of Casitas Av. Loss: brown canvas purse, red iPod Nano, black MP3, and personal documents.
Wed., Oct. 27
Between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM – A petty theft from a residence occurred in the 2500 block of N. Marengo Av. Loss: black XBox.
4:00 PM – A robbery occurred in the 2100 block of N. Summit Av. Suspect #1 male, African American, 31 years, 6’00, 250 lbs. & suspect #2 male, African American, 24 years, 6’00”, 220 lbs. approached the victim who was sitting in a vehicle. The suspects opened the driver’s side door and began to physically strike the victim. The suspects removed the keys from the ignition and fled the scene. A few minutes later, an unknown male walked up to the victim and handed over the keys that were stolen. Loss: none.
Thurs., Oct. 28
Between 11:00 PM and 9:00 AM, Friday – A petty theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred in the 3000 block of Glenrose Av. Loss: tan leather wallet containing personal documents, black Magellan GPS, black BlueTooth & (2) black chargers.
Fri., Oct. 29
Between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM – A residential burglary occurred in the 3100 block of Mesaloa Ln. Suspect(s) entered the location by forcing open the front door with an unknown object. Loss: natural wood/mahohany Gretsch guitar, red Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, white Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, natural wood Ibanez JP‐20 electric guitar, & black Sony Vaio laptop.
Sun., Oct. 31
9:00 PM – A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2200‐block of Spaulding Pl. Vehicle description: white ’89 Toyota Camry. No suspect description available.
