Next Sat., Dec. 11, come celebrate the 90th Annual Christmas Tree Lane Lighting Ceremony at the corner of Altadena Dr. and Santa Rosa in a family-friendly Altadena tradition.
Also that day will be the Winter Arts & Crafts Festival, to be held in the Altadena Library parking lot, 600 E. Mariposa, from 2-5 PM. The tree lighting ceremony will take place thereafter.
Master of ceremonies is actor Meshach Taylor. The Pasadena High School Naval ROTC will present the colors, and music will be provided by the Blair International Baccalaureate Singers, the Pasadena Waldorf School Sixth Grade Singers, the Altadena Children's Choir, and "The Singing Realtor," Linda Lane-White.
State assemblyman Anthony Portantino will also speak, and the first stroll through the lighted lane will be led by the John Muir High Alumni Drum Corps.
Santa Rosa will be closed to traffic from 4-7:30 PM for the ceremony and strolling. For more information, call 626-403-1123.
