6:20 PM: Per scanner, they seem to have made contact -- at least one will be ambulanced out, the rest are getting out on foot.
7:10 PM: and the score is: one patient choppered out to Huntington, the remaining hikers and rescuers made it to the Pinecrest gate and were awaiting a ride home. Thanks to all Altadena scannerheads in the comments!
UPDATE: PSN is already reporting that James Si, 19, of El Monte, fell down from the top of the first waterfall and is being treated as a trauma patient.
