Saturday is the when the Altadena Sheriff's Station's annual food and toy drive takes the goods to their new homes.
Uber-volunteer Carolyn Seitz tells us that there has been a time change: due to things moving ahead of schedule, volunteers who are planning to help with distribution should be at the Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr., at 7:30 AM tomorrow (it was previously 6 AM). There will be a quick briefing, and actual distribution will begin no later than 8 AM
Please be sure to allow yourselves a little extra time to find a place to park since access to the parking lot at the Community Center may be blocked.
Carolyn says: "Thanks to everyone who's been contributing food and toys and to all who have been helping, especially Altadena's Deputies, many of whom have been helping when they're off-duty!"
