Celebrate Lincoln’s birthday with stories of inspiration and courage that foster understanding of the history of folklore and African Americans as told by Altadena’s master storyteller Leslie Perry. This special program will take place on Sat., Feb. 12, Lincoln’s Birthday, at Altadena Library at 2 PM.
Leslie Perry, master storyteller, theater artist, and Altadena resident for almost fifty years has contributed much to the community. He is now winding down his career, so this is a great time to hear the well-known and highly regarded storyteller in person. Perry will be joined by other renowned storytellers & performers for this important event. Copies of his new book The Story Man: Stories and Plays by Leslie Perry will be available for sale and signing. Profits from the book go to ALS.
