East Altadena Little League assements Jan. 8, 15

It seems to be gearing up for spring already:

East Altadena Little League Spring 2011 Season Assessment Dates

Hello East Altadena Little League Families,

Happy New Year!!

Just a reminder that all registered Farm, Minors AA, Minors AAA and Major Division players must attend ONE of the following assessment dates, held at Donley Field located at 1065 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena at Longfellow Elementary:   (T-ball and Girls Softball players DO NOT need to attend.)

Sat., Jan. 8 or Sat., Jan. 15

 

11-12 years old           8:00 a.m.

9-10 year olds           10:30 a.m.

6-8 years old              1:00 p.m. 

 

*NOTE:  Age based on LEAGUE AGE of player (age as of April 30, 2011).

 Example:  A player who is age 8 today and has a March birthday is league age 9 for 2011 season.

Your child should check in at the time indicated. Skills assessments will begin approximately 30 minutes after check-in time. Each session will last for approximately 2 hours. 

PLEASE have your child dressed in baseball attire with necessary equipment (minimum is cleats and glove.)

If your child is unable to attend one of the sessions on either date, please contact:

If you still need to register, click here to go to our On-Line Registration site. Please note that in order to complete the registration, you must submit your proof of residency and age documents (see below for guidelines) at one of the assessment dates above. Payment must also be made at time of registration.

Also, if you have already registered and missed the Document Verification dates in December, you will need to bring the following proof of residency and age documents (new EALL players only)  to one of the assessment dates.

 

PROOF OF RESIDENCY: 

To be eligible to play at EALL, the parent or guardian of the player must reside within EALL's boundaries. Proof of such residency may be made at Assessments by providing

ONE document each from THREE of the following categories (three documents total):  

• Driver's License
• Voter's Registration
• School Records  
• Welfare/Child Care Records
• Federal Records
• State Records
• Local (Municipal) Records 
• Support Payment Records 
• Homeowner or Tenant Records  
• Utility Bills (i.e. Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer, Phone, Mobile Phone, Heating, Waste Disposal) 
• Financial (Loan, Credit, Investments, Etc.) Records 
• Insurance Documents 
• Medical Records 
• Military Records 
• Internet, Cable or Satellite Records 
• Vehicle Records
• Employment Records

For example, note that three utility bills (three documents from the category "Utility Bills") would constitute only ONE document from ONE category, and therefore would be insufficient for establishing proof of residency.

By way of further example and clarification, please note that the category "Internet, Cable or Satellite Records" is a category separate from the category "Utility Bills". Therefore, a cable TV bill AND a utility bill would constitute documents from TWO categories.

PROOF OF AGE:FOR FIRST-TIME EALL PLAYERS ONLY. To be eligible to play in EALL, the player's league age must be between 4 and 12 years for all divisions of play except the Juniors Division. For the Junior's Division, the player's league age can not be greater than 14 years.

Proof of such age may be made at Registration by providing ONE of the following documents:

Original or Certified Copy of Birth Certificate (no photocopies accepted.)

For children born abroad of a parent or parents who are U.S. citizens, any official government document issued by a U.S. federal agency or service, is acceptable. For military dependents, Department of Defense identification cards and military hospital certificates are acceptable .
