Morning jolt

• Watching the Danny's Farm coverage, now Pasadena Weekly weighs in (they even swiped our headline!) But Jake Armstrong's story is really great in that it looks at the growth of numbers of people with autism and the need for services in the context of what's available in Pasadena.
• Shirlee Smith's PSN column today is a slice of not-always-pleasant life in northwest Pasadena/Altadena, even when the agencies that are supposed to help do anything but.
• The Patch has an article about a preliminary hearing for Adrain McKoy, 30, charged with felony drug possession and resisting arrest. It was McKoy's September 2010 arrest and subsequent burn when pushed against a hot car that propelled much of the Pasadena Journal publisher Joe Hopkins' charges about sheriff tactics. (Hopkins, an attorney, is representing McKoy).
