The Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Forest Service and other agencies are sending out a scoping notice to collect comments on the repair of portions of the roadway near the Mueller Tunnel on the Mt. Lowe Truck Trail just south of Eaton Saddle and at the junction with Mt. Wilson County Road.

The road has been damaged by rock falls since the 2009 Station Fire and has been closed. The road is normally open to forest service vehicles and public pedestrian and mountain bike use.
