All parents of Aveson students are invited to join the Aveson AAPC (African American Parent Council). Come help strategize, then actuate creative ways to work together as a community to close the achievement gap. Innovative approaches to engaging learners and families can help to uplift all Aveson Scholars to their own personal best. Come and share your thoughts and ideas.
The mission of Aveson AAPC is to honor and embrace the identity and experiences of African-American families, advocate for the cultural acceptance of all, and mobilize and engage all stakeholders to transform the system to ensure a high quality education for every student.
Monthly meetings are every second Friday of the month at 6:30 PM at the school, 1919 East Pinecrest Dr.
