The Crown City Symphony presents "Four Centuries of Music" in two free concerts next month.
The concerts will be at 2 PM Sat., March 12 at the Altadena Senior Center, 560 E. Mariposa, and at 2 PM at the First Baptist Church of Pasadena, 75 N. Marengo, Pasadena.
Marvin Neumann conducts the symphony and violin soloist Charles Hummel in a program that includes:
Mozart—Overture to “Cosi Fan Tutte”—18th Century (Cynthia Nunes, Conductor)
Neumann—“Redux” for String Orchestra—21st Century
Prokofiev—Violin Concerto #2---20th Century
Chabrier—“Espana”---19th Century
