There was an announcement that the Black History Parade will be Saturday, Feb. 19, starting at 10 AM in Charles White Park, going south on Fair Oaks and ending at Robinson Park in Pasadena.
Sund announced that the county planner approved the cellphone tower near Loma Alta in the McNally neighborhood on Feb. 9, and unless appealed it will go forward.
Allan Wasserman, the council’s representative to the West Altadena Project Area Committee (WAPAC), told the council that Gov. Brown’s move to reduce the money given to community redevelopment agencies may put Lincoln Crossing “in jeopardy.”
