The lead rider of a group of cyclists was hit by a car making a right turn at Woodbury and Garfield on Tuesday afternoon, according to Officer Ming Hsu of the California Highway Patrol.
Hsu said that the driver made a right turn in front of the group, injuring the lead rider, who went down. The driver left the scene without stopping, Hsu said. The highway patrol is looking for any leads to identify the driver.
