For those who are already CERT trained, there will be a CERT refresher Saturday, May 7th, in the Altadena/Pasadena area. This refresher will be for those who have completed either CERT or PERT (Pasadena Emergency Response Team) training.
This refresher will be co-hosted by the Pasadena Fire Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
We will also be scheduling CERT drills. One of those drills may be related to preparedness for terrorism events.
We hope to schedule a full CERT training later this year. If you want to be on the list for participation in the full CERT training or you know others who are interested, please let me know and I'll be sure you stay on the notification list.
