The Altadena Community Garden adjacent to Loma Alta Park will hold beginning and intermediate gardening classes though the "Grow LA Victory Garden Initiative" on four Saturdays in April.
The classes enable you to become a University of California "Victory Gardener," part of UC Cooperative Extension's Master Gardener Program. Cost is $50 for the series or $15 per class. To register, call Jeri Huston at 323-344-6012.
