The Gardener's Potluck for members of the Altadena Community Garden will be this Sat., March 19, starting at 1 PM at the garden next to Loma Alta Park. Bring a dish or two, and you are encouraged to bring utensils, dishes, and cups from home.

Waste Less Living in Altadena is running for the "Green Entrepreneur" award from the Green Giant. They hope to win the $25,000 first prize, which will allow them to bring their environmental education program to public schools, where it may be possible to divert as much as 77% of the waste stream from the landfill.
