Per the scanner, Altadena Mountain Rescue is trying to extract a hiker who fell from the first waterfall in Eaton Canyon, broke leg in two places. Rescue is mounting up at the Pinecrest Gate, and sheriff's Air 5 chopper is firing up at 3:15 PM.
UPDATE 3:41 PM: victim now enroute to Huntington Memorial in Air 5 with broken leg and hypothermia, per scanner.
