The YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley will be honoring Dr. Angelica Salas, Executive Director, Coalition For Humane Immigrant Rights of L.A. (CHIRLA). For the past twenty-one years, CHIRLA has been at the forefront in the fight for immigrant and refugee rights in Los Angeles and across the state and nation. More about CHIRLA can be found at http://chirla.org/content/our-story.
The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. For these reasons, we are honored to have Dr. Salas join us for an evening of conversation on these topics.
The celebration is scheduled for Tues., March 22 at 6 PM at Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church. Tickets can be ordered online here.
