Loma Alta Elementary School, 3544 N. Canon Blvd., one of the schools that will be closed by the Pasadena Unified School District at the end of the year, is inviting the families of all alumni past and present for a a final celebration.
Sat., April 30, from 9 to noon, join the Loma Alta PTA what they call a "morning of fun, family, and fitness" with a book sale, game booths, face painting, scavenger hunt, fitness walk, and "final mile" marathon to celebrate the school's 60 years of service to the community.
Special guests include PUSD Board members Renatta Cooper and Ramon Miramontes, as well as Pasadena City Councilman Chris Holden.
