LA County's Dept. of Public Works will have a hearing Mon., 1:30-4:30 PM to discuss upcoming reservoir cleanout projects.
The latest one is La Tuna Canyon, and you know the drill -- flatten a mature oak woodland, and dump sediment in it. The Theodore Payne Foundation is urging people who are concerned about this behavior from the county are urging residents to attend the meeting at the public works headquarters building, 900 South Fremont, Ave., Alhambra, conference rooms A& B.
