The Altadena Town Council chose Bernardine Broadous and Richard Moon as Altadena’s representatives on the PUSD districting task force at last night's council meeting.
The nine-member task force is charged with developing geographically-based districts for the Pasadena Unified School District board, whose members are presently elected at-large.
Broadous is a local educator who is also on the board of the West Altadena Project Area Committee, which is involved in development of Lincoln Crossing. Moon is a local screenwriter and, with his wife Isabel Junie Hildebrant, runs MoonHill Productions.
Meanwhile, in the Pasadena Unified school board runoff, the unofficial results from the City of Pasadena show that incumbant Tom Selinske keeps his seat with 7,968 votes (61.4%). His challenger, Sean J. Baggett, garnered 4,999 votes, 38.5% of ballots cast.
