Sapphos Environmental, Inc., LA county's consultant, is letting everyone know that the proposed final trails manual for county trail guidelines is available for download in two versions.
The Final Trails Manual (Redline Version) shows the changes made from the Draft Trails Manual to the Final Trails Manual based on public comments received during the six public meetings held between February 16- March 3, 2011, and in letters, e-mails, and Web site submissions. Please note sections that are not included in the red-line version:
1) New sections/appendices in the Final Trails Manual: Letter from the Director, Executive Summary (Section ES), Section 8, and Appendix M
2) Appendices that were not revised from the Draft Trails Manual to the Final Trails Manual: Appendices C, F, G, H, I, and L
The Final Trails Manual (Clean Version) shows the Final Trails Manual that will be presented to the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors. The changes that were made from the Draft Trails Manual to the Final Trails Manual based on public comments received during the Draft Trails Manual Public Meetings and in letters, e-mails, and Web site submissions are incorporated into this version and redline has been removed to show the final resulting text.
The Final Trails Manual can be accessed and downloaded under the Downloads tab at the following Web site: www.lacountytrailsmanual.com.
The Final Trails Manual will be presented to the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors for consideration on May 17, 2011, beginning at 9:30 a.m at the Hall of Administration, 500 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. Members of the public can attend this meeting and present their comments on the Final Trails Manual to the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors.
