A few important things coming up in the next few days:
- Invest in PUSD Kids' third annual community meeting will be held at 345 N. Lake Ave., Pasadena, tonight from 7-8:30 PM. Doors open at 6:30 to view the "No Boundaries" district art exhibit.
- The Yard House at the Pasadena Paseo will hold "Tips for CHiPs" tonight: California Highway Patrol officers will accompany and help wait staff to drum up donations to the Special Olympics.
- Assemblyman Anthony Portantino will host a public safety forum tomorrow, Thurs., May 19, "Bears in your Backyard," at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's station, 4554 N. Briggs Ave., La Crescenta, from 7:30-9 PM. Representatives of Fish and Game will be there to talk about how to safely co-exist with the wildlife in our hills.
